Ask any patient what they like most about Dr. Aaron Carroll and they will likely tell you that his easy-going, gentle chair side manner makes any trip to the dentist more relaxing and comfortable. It’s what all of his patients have come to expect when they visit Sedalia Dental.
Dr. Carroll received a degree in business from the University of Miami. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He continues to attend post-graduate courses in a variety of areas including removables (with and without implants), oral pathology, CEREC, occlusion and cosmetic dentistry. He is on track to become an Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Fellow. To earn a Fellowship award, a dentist must complete at least 500 continuing dental education hours, pass a rigorous and comprehensive exam, and maintain AGD membership for three continuous years.
Dr. Carroll is currently serving on a committee of eight dentists at Ohio State University who are charged with determining what educational opportunities they will offer to alumni and other practicing dentists. He is a member of and active participant in a Spears Study Club and Advanced Dental Concepts Study Club, and is a member of the American Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, and Alpha Omega Dental Society.
Dr. Carroll has been on several dental mission trips and volunteers at the Columbus Public Health Department doing dentistry for the uninsured/underserved community. He also participates in a program that offers free dentistry to Holocaust survivors.
He and his wife, Dr. Katie Carroll have three children, which helps them both better understand young children and how to make them feel comfortable at the dentist. In his free time he enjoys running, golfing, tennis and traveling.
